  1. Thank you for sharing your new give away with us here at Tell me a Story. I am not a rich woman, but I am a woman of means. That means, I am an excellent bargain shopper. I find specials that I know someone can use and am able to use the money I save to give more to others. Our Grocery Outlet recently has small jars of Skippy's crunchy Peanut Butter for two for a dollar. (fifty cents a jar.) I bought 6 and gave them to a lady in our church who looks out for the homeless and single mothers. She know who to share with. She also collects the shampoo etc that people get when they rent a hotel room, and small personal care items for homeless. By all means - be a person of means.

    1. I love bargains, too...oh, my, I RARELY buy something that is not a bargain! LOL! It is a wonderful joy to be frugal and to endeavor to be a good steward over the things with which God has entrusted us. Thank you for your visit, dear Hazel. God bless you, and Happy New Year!

    1. Su Ann, I am so happy to see that you have stopped by for another visit! I have left different comments for you to please get in touch with me, as you had asked for the other cookbook, and I have been wanting to send it to you, but I have no way of doing that since you comment anonymously! There is no way for me to reach you when I do not have your email address or a way to contact you. If you would like these books, please email me your contact information and mailing address. Thank you!

  3. Hello Mrs. Smith,
How big is the doll? Does she have any legs? Is she like new or kind of old? ( I would like to put her in my shoebox for Samaritan's Purse, but they want like new items. :)
    Love,
    Ashley

    1. What a commendable thing for you to want to do, Ashley! She is very clean, and yes, I would feel good giving her to a child as a "like new" item. Yes, she has legs. HOWEVER, she is too big to include in a Samaritan's Purse shoebox...I feel that she would take up too much space and not allow enough room for other things. It was a wonderful idea, though.

Could you please also include the delightful desserts book with the dolly? I hope you haven't sent the doll yet so you can put the book in with it. :) Thank you so much!

  5. Hi Cheryl, I don't know if I can request more goodies, but here it goes! I know my son would enjoy the guitar book and my daughter would really love the white purse. If either of these items are still available, I would appreciate them for my kids. Thank you.

  9. Dear Mrs. Smith,
What an encouragement your post was. I'll leave a comment on it after this. If the quilt hasn't already been spoken for, I was wondering if I could have the quilt? If it has been spoken for, you don't have to publish this comment. :) You're so sweet to give it away. Did you make it?
    Much love in Christ,
    Ashley

    1. Hello, sweet Ashley, You are the first one to ask for the quilt, so, guess what? It is YOURS! Will get it in the mail to you within the next few days, Lord willing. Sending you love and blessings! OH, by the way, no, I didn't make it. We actually bought it several years ago at Cracker Barrel. I hope you enjoy it for years to come! You will have to email me a picture after you get pictures put in the plastic slots!
